This table interprets the BS EN ISO 9241-210 descriptions of a broad range of human centered design activities. It aligns them with the associated skills and competencies needed by the people who do the work and suggests a typical title for their role. In most design teams there is considerable flexibility and overlap between roles and activities and so this should be viewed as a theoretical model. It is unlikely that the complete structure shown here would be found in any particular company, although most roles and activities will be familiar to those working in the industry.
